Aleyrys Lantigua, Director Vocational Services, joined our team in 2021 as a Residential Services Program Director, and since 2022, has been leading our Vocational Services Organization.

As the Director, Vocational Services, Aleyrys is dedicated to ensuring its efficient and inclusive operation, placing a significant emphasis on meeting the needs of program participants. In addition to overseeing program support and development, she also fulfills essential administrative responsibilities integral to her role.Aleyrys expresses, "In essence, my role is dynamic and fast-paced, demanding a multifaceted approach to cater to the varied needs of the program, its participants, and the professional development of staff." What truly ignites her passion is observing the success and heightened productivity not only among the Individuals enrolled in the program but also in supporting the assistant director, managers, floor coordinators, shift leads, and DSPs to excel in their respective positions.

Aleyrys holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Mercy University, majoring in psychology and pre-med, granting her valuable understanding of human behavior and its interplay with the environment. Although her initial aspiration was to pursue a medical career, financial constraints steered her towards seeking employment. She began her journey in Human Services as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). Aleyrys demonstrated exceptional proficiency in her role as a DSP and was promoted into a more advanced position, eventually assuming the role of program coordinator for a Vocational Program before joining our team.

Aleyrys’ personal passion is traveling and immersing herself in new cultures and trying diverse cuisines. She also finds great enjoyment in working out as it serves as a valuable stress relief outlet. Her current goal is to complete a full marathon, after completing a half-marathon previously.
