In her role as General Manager, Lisa handles all aspects of our transportation business and our fleet center including securing board of education bids for school transports (runs), ensuring we have the right vehicle, driver, and aide available to meet the needs of each student and run, and making sure our fleet is meticulously maintained to the highest of safety standards. She wholeheartedly believes in being a team player and is happy to pitch in wherever needed to meet the needs and challenges of the business which include everything from making sure each child arrives where they need to on time, keeping all vested parties informed (school administrators, parents, etc.) to weather issues including school delays and closings.
Lisa is very aware of the trust parents and guardians place in us when they put their child in one of our vehicles, and she makes it her personal mission to ensure safety and compassion is every one of our team members’ top priorities. She believes having the right team member(s) in the right places at the right time is how we keep our promise to those we provide services.
Lisa is a life-long student of the transportation business, starting with her first job at age 15 at an oil company where she answered customer calls and scheduled oil and propane deliveries. From there, she continued to learn all aspects of the business from operations to logistics to fiscal responsibilities, as she moved into roles with additional responsibility and oversight. Her experience and dedication to continuous learning has truly made her one of the most knowledgeable leaders in this industry.
Lisa enjoys spending as much time as possible with her husband, and her dog, Finster, who can occasionally be seen strolling the halls of our 440 Chase River location. She enjoys camping with her friends and family and is an avid bowler.
